Xiangfeng Duan receives an Early Career Research Program Award from the Department of Energy

Xiangfeng Duan has been honored by the Department of Energy's Office of Science with an Early Career Research Program Award. Xiangfeng's proposal entitled "Rational Design and Nanoscale Integration of Multi-Heterostructures as Highly Efficient Photocatalysts" was selected from over 850 applicants. He is one of 68 scientists recognized nationwide and the only one at UCLA to be so honored this year. This award "now in its third year, supports the development of individual research programs of outstanding scientists early in their careers and stimulates research careers in the disciplines supported by the DOE Office of Science."
